First and foremost..Doc. Poonam actually cares about the emotional condition of scared and worried mom's. She is extremely professional and this is how:

1) appointments booked online with immediate confirmation on mobile phone.

2) has an organised computer system for recording all history of unwell children so you don't have to remember everything, especially under stress with your sick child.

3) doc.poonam listens patiently and then checks the child and then explains in a friendly common language manner of what's actually happening and if she is unsure then she recommends tests and emergency checkin at RG Stone porvorim because she can reach your sick child far easily as she resides few mins away.

4) she calls every sick child / client that might need emergency check in at night before she sleeps, so she can understand the night ahead / morning plans.

5) Our three and half years old boy had 103 - 104.4 (40.4) raging nonstop fever .. The fever kept coming back . We had very little support from our earlier lady doctors in mapusa and then we managed to discover Doctor Poonamd ..She is a God Sent Stress Buster Doctor:

1) She cares about child and parent

2) She actually loves her profession as it shows in her professional documentation of child records and history.

3) She makes the time and replies to messages and works slot on what's App messaging for reports and updates and Dr. Poonam herself drops her kids to school and takes care of our sick kids with a massive smiling heart.

We never had any issue getting our kids into the clinic, she was and will be always great with my 5 year old son and 3 year old daughter🤪such a loving and caring pediatrician. I'm from hyd visited Goa for a 5 days vacation. my child was not feeling well from the 3rd day and was really worried. Did some google to check for the **** pediatrician around.unfortunately couldn't find one within 7kms range.I could find Poonam has good ratings but 11kms far from the place we were staying.I decided to visit her anyway..waiting Time : 10mins (I was late by 30mins from the scheduled appointment time) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Cleanliness: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Treatment: First off I would like to thank Poonam for her friendly nature. Both my kids are happy to go to her clinic. My son (10) converses with her like she is his friend and my daughter( 3 years) even tries to imitate her. Dr. Poonam goes out of her way to ensure the best for her patients and explains everything in such a simple manner. She remembers minute details of patients and is quite humorous too. Dr Poonam is amazing frankly. . we reached out to her in the middle of the night in an SOS situation. Am based in Bangalore..so we took an appointment with her over video..The baby had been crying for hours with what we now know as colic.She was very empatheticshe explained every question in way which we could understand.explained the issue with a lot of insights,gave us great advice and the medicines that she prescribed worked amazingly well.I would strongly recommend Dr Poonam.her explainer videos on youtube are amazing too with a lot of insights especially for first time parents.The entire process from booking an appointment to making the payment and finally the appointment was a very smooth process

Her medicine always helped and very perfect she is the best and she tells the roots of the infections correctly not around the bush . Somehow makes me wonder if the doctor is magical! Lol.

On a serious note, yes, I've been seeing doc since 8 years now. NEVER have seen her impatient/angry/irritated with the silliest of questions a parent can ask!

Plus if the kids get better in less than a day...there's nothing more a parent can ask for.

Yes, she's a bit costly, but it's all worth it. Nothing's more than seeing kids happy n back to normal after the medications/consultation.

My 10 months LO is down with heavy fever so we consulted Dr Poonam and she gave the prescription, checked her temprature and told us wet the Baby with some water at clinic.She predicted it as some viral infection. Way back from clinic to home my LO experienced Seizure, she turned her eyes, became stiff like, shaky hands, no blinking of eyes, saliva leaking from her mouth n abnormal behaviour n all this we experienced for the 1st time and we tried calling Dr but she didnt answer the call in this emergency situation and didnt even reverted back to missed calls. Msg her on whatsup but no reply there also.We had to rush baby to govt hospital in 108 as her Oxygen level had dropped to 70. She is admitted in govt hospital and report shows covid positive.Its not only about predicting and prescribing medicines to kids. After service and answering emergency patients plays big roll specially when it comes to little ones. Though my doughter had high fever she didnt give emergency medicine to her in the clinic . Its been more than 12 hours now, not a single follow up from her. We visit her and trust her blindly, plz dont do this to any child. What i have gone through today is worst experience n hence forth i will never ever take my kids to this clinic..

My baby boy is 11 month old some days before he started crying when passing the urin ....we go near my doctor they told us to have to cut his skin which is very tight becoze of that he is crying when passing the urin ...but I saw the dr poonam on social media and we visit to their clinic dr told us no need to make any operation just given one cream ...which have to apply on his private part...by this now my baby boy is ok ...thank you doctro

I am consulting Dr.Poonam for past 5 years .*** ** *** ** *** **** ************ ** ***. Recently my 3 year old toddler was down with very high fever .I had a teleconsultation with her.She patiently explained all the medication to be given and gave me mental strength during this covid times .She also followed up until my toddler's fever was normal.Now my baby boy is absolutely healthy and happy.
